Altitude, Die Hard at 35,000 Feet

Denise Richards!  Dolph Lundgren!  Chuck Liddell!  Stewardesses in peril!  Yep, remember the days we used to like the FBI?  Director Christopher Wray now oversees America's version of the SS and the American people no longer hold the Bureau in any kind of esteem.  In this 2017 film, the Bureau is screwing one of their own agents...and that agent is played by Denise Richards!  Today we look at 2017's "Altitude," directed by Alex Merkin.

After saving many lives, Special Agent Gretchen Blair (Richards) is busted down and sent to FBIHQ for discipline.  Saving lives instead of protecting establishment politicians will get you busted in today's FBI.  They put the beauty on a commercial airline headed for DC.  She is moved to first class by a babe stewardess, Clare (Chelsea Edmundson) and now sits next to the ravishing Terry (Kirk Barker).  Terry comes on to Gretchen and offers her $50 million to make sure he survives the flight.  Gretchen sort of likes him, he is a suave hunk, but is suspicious.  Uh oh...one of the babe stewardesses is Sadie (Greer Grammer).  She, Dolph Lundgren, and Chuck Liddell kill the other stewardesses and pilots and hijack the airplane.

Terrorists?  It seems that they are...in reality, Terry has goods worth billions of dollars in the cargo hold and Dolph Lundgren and Sadie want it.  As Dolph and Sadie work over Terry, Gretchen acts.  Now she turns all Bruce Willis and goes to war against the bad guys.  She'll have to battle Chuck Liddell, Dolph Lundgren, and the sultry but evil Sadie.  Oh yes, there will be a nice catfight.  Uh oh, again.  Our thieves have a detailed plan which does not include any of the passengers surviving.  Gretchen must decimate a bunch of peeps who are three times bigger than her and also out slap the evil Sadie...and then start a love affair with Terry.

Just what does Terry have that is worth billions of dollars and fits in a suitcase?  Will Gretchen shove Sadie's false eyelashes up her nose or will Sadie shove Gretchen's panties down her throat?  Will Clare, our stunning stewardess, survive the evil peeps who seek to rip her head off?  This is a good one.  If the FBI had more agents like Denise Richards and less like stormtroopers who threaten parents at schoolboard meetings, we might still like the FBI.  For some adventure, action, and intrigue at 35,000 feet, see "Altitude."
